115 Days Old…September 30, 2011

Anderson is wearing footed pajamas for the first time tonight. These were given to him by his Nana, and both Jeremy and I think he’s just about the cutest thing ever! So far he seems to be a fan of his new pajamas; He’s already christened them with spit up twice which generally means that he loves what he’s wearing! Our sweet little guy is doing great as usual, and it’s so hard to believe that he’s almost 4 months old. He’s growing like a weed, and we can’t wait to see how much he’s changed when he goes back to the doctor on October 10th. I guess that’s it for tonight. Y’all take care!

110 Days…September 25, 2011

Here is the latest picture of our little guy. He’s doing great as usual, and just yesterday he enjoyed his first trip to the zoo, and his first train ride. I had a great day with my boys, and it’s been a great birthday spending it with my little guy. Have a great day!

105 Days…September 20, 2011

Anderson looks thrilled at getting bunny ears from Jackson, no?

Anderson has been doing great the past few days. He is well over his short lived virus, and we can hardly believe that he’s now taking 6 ounces every 4 hours. We are trying to hold off until he is 4 months old before we start introducing solids, but this little guy is going through a major growth spurt! We aren’t adding rice cereal to his bottle anymore, and luckily his “reflux” is gone and we’re just left with normal spitting up. Much better!

Anderson still isn’t much of a fan of tummy time, but the little guy loves rolling around on his back. We haven’t seen him attempt to roll over again, but honesty, life has been so crazy lately with how busy we are that we haven’t had much downtime for him to play on the floor. Hopefully things will slow down soon!

Personality wise it has been so much fun watching Anderson grow. He’s incredibly laid back and calm, and for the most part I think he’s perfectly content no matter what is going on around him. I think, other than the times when he’s hungry, he hasn’t cried in over a week. We are so blessed! Anderson is sleeping from about 9 at night until 5 in the morning, and I’m so glad we’re past those 3 am wakeup calls that he had been doing a few weeks ago.

That’s about it for now. See y’all in 5 more days!

100 Days Old…September 15, 2011

Today is Anderson’s 100 Day Birthday! Our sweet little man is doing great, and he’s feeling so much better than a week ago. He’s almost back to his regular bottle schedule, and the spit up issue seems to be returning to normal. He had gained 10 ounces back when his weight was rechecked, and he’s right at 14 pounds again, which makes me very happy! He’s slept until 6:00 for the past two days, and you have no idea how happy that makes us!

Anderson thinks that his big brother Jackson is the best thing ever, and I’m pretty certain the feeling is completely mutual! We can always guarantee smiles and giggles whenever Jackson  is around. I’m so excited about watching my two boys grow up together! Life doesn’t get much better than this!

We’ll be back in 5 days. Y’all take care!

95 Days Old…September 10, 2011

Not much new on the home front here. Anderson has had a pretty rough stomach bug for the past few days. We had to take him back to the doctor today and she thinks he may have reflux. We’ve started adding some rice cereal to his bottle to thicken the formula up, so we’ll see if that helps.

Anderson has been in his usual good mood lately, despite not feeling good. He was absolutely cracking up at Jackson last night when Jackson was jumping around the kitchen. It was hilarious!

Anderson did sort of roll over the other day, from his back to his tummy. He got almost all the way over but his arm got stuck underneath him, so we’re not counting it as official yet!

Pray that Anderson gets to feeling better soon. He’s lost a good bit of weight over the last few days, and we’ll have to take him back to the doctor to get weighed again in a week. I’ll keep y’all posted. Have a great day, and we’ll see in 5 more days!

3 Months Old!!!

100_4113100_4130100_4132100_4124

3 months ago today Anderson joined our family, and we fell in love with our new son. I’m somewhat in shock that it’s already been 3 months! At 3 months old, Anderson is taking between 5-6 ounces every 4 hours during the day, and sleeping from 9 at night until 4:00 in the morning. I’m not sure of his exact weight, but he is in size 2 diapers during the day and size 3 at night, and he wears size 3-6 month clothes.

We’re getting lots of smiles and giggles now, and one time the other day Anderson was just cracking up laughing at me. We loved it! He’s making lots of vowel sounds when he “talks” to us, and he’s getting great at taking turns in a conversation.

Anderson is still a big fan of his paci, but he’s discovered his hands and he can’t seem to get enough of them right now! He is doing great at school, and his teacher tells us all the time about how sweet he is.

We have been so blessed to have Anderson in our lives, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for my sweet baby boy!

90 Days Old…September 5, 2011

We are 2 days away from Anderson being 3 months old, and I’m shocked at how quickly time has been flying by. Anderson has developed such a sweet personality and he loves to laugh and smile at us. He talks all the time, but he seems to have an aversion to performing in front of the camera. If I pull it out, he clams up; he’s such a little stinker! I did get a video of him this afternoon when he was talking to us. I’ve watched it over and over and I can’t help but smile at how sweet the little guy is. He really couldn’t be an easier baby if he tried, and I know that I’m so blessed to have such a laid back kiddo.

Anderson is now taking 6 ounces every 4 hours, but we still haven’t mastered sleeping past 4 in the morning. Anderson has been wetting through his diapers for the past several mornings, and both Jeremy and I are convinced that if that weren’t the case, that he probably would have slept a little later. So frustrating!

Anyways, enjoy the pics and video from today. We’ll be back with his 3 month candid shots on Wednesday, and Anderson has a photo shoot scheduled for Saturday for his 3 month pictures. Have a great day!
