Anderson has had a blast lately playing with his Thomas the train. He drags it all around our house all the time. When it's time to put it up for cleanup, he has a meltdown of epic proportions. Someone is definitely getting close to 2 years old!

590 Days Old...January 17, 2013
This little stinker had his first "round" of speech therapy yesterday, and the therapist has concluded that he's perfectly capable of talking, he's just being stubborn. Because he's so smart cognitively, his therapist has decided to do speech therapy with him once a month, and we will reevaluate his progress in June after he turns 2. I have no doubt that Anderson understands everything we tell him to do, he just won't talk.
Stinker or not, isn't that sweet smile just precious?!?

585 Days Old...January 12, 2013
We've bit hit by the flu bug in our house and little Anderson is the only one in our family that hasn't been sick. We had to spend today inside because Jeremy and I weren't feeling good, but Anderson kept himself entertained using Macy as a playset. She wasn't amused, but she tolerated his antics like a saint. She's such a good dog!
Say a prayer that Anderson stays well! He's on a preventative dose of Tamiflu and our fingers are crossed that he stays healthy. The last thing we need is for another case of the flu!

19 Months Old
Our little man is flying up onto his 2nd birthday. Where has the time gone? He's my baby, and here he is pushing two. Time? I need you to slow down!
Anderson is starting speech therapy this month, and not a moment too soon! He's only saying "bye" and "no" and much to our dismay, he's using "no" way more than we like! The therapist will be working with him at daycare, probably every 2 weeks. It will be interesting to see how much his speech develops in the next few months.
That sweet little smile is hard to come by in pictures, and Anderson LOVES to play games and laugh, but you pull a camera out and he clams up so fast. He's such a funny little monkey! He's all about playing hide and seek, and he still loves patty cake. He is definitely into mimicking people right now, and he will perfectly mirror people around him. He's a cutie for sure!
I can't believe that Anderson has been in our family this long because it seems like he's always been with us. He is an absolute joy; quick with hugs and kisses, the sweetest laugh, and just a true delight. We have been so blessed!

Anderson loves bathtime. He does not, however, love paparazzi pictures during bathtime, even if it is time for a "5 days" shot. Notice the, "I'm not amused" look he has mastered! He looks adorable, even when he's irritated with us!

575 Days Old...January 2, 2013
This little monkey has LOVED his slide. It's huge in our living room, but as you can see, both boys are having a blast playing on it. Anderson "eh's" until we pull it out for him to play on, and he goes to town! With the cold weather, I'm just glad he has something fun to do that doesn't involve freezing our tails off outside! See y'all in 5 more days!
