630 Days Old...February 26, 2012

Jeremy is holding down the fort at home with the boys because I'm out of town for work. He posted this picture on Facebook and it made me smile. My two boys love each other so much! Anderson is now big enough to hold his own for the most part with gentle wrestling matches, and the boys laugh and laugh at rolling around together on the floor. Gotta love brotherly love! These boys are gonna be a mess in the coming years! This mama better hang on for a fun ride!

This sweet little boy of ours is obsessed with Macy. She looks thrilled, no? Macy is almost 11 years old, so she's not quite as agile as she used to be. For the most part though she tolerates being used as a personal playground pretty well. Anderson is regularly found sitting on her, and when Macy finally has enough, she just stands up and he topples off of her. Anderson always looks at us and points to Macy as if to say, "Did you see what she did to me?" We just crack up. We're so lucky to have a dog that is so great at putting up with kids, especially when they are little! No doubt, Anderson loves his doggy!

615 Days Old...February 11, 2013

 

This little monkey loves bathtime. He's figured how how to lay down on his tummy and "swim" in the tub, drink from the watering can that I wash his hair with (gross!), and blow bubbles in the water. He has a blast, and has decided that he prefers bathtime to be a solo event (without Jackson) so he has more room to play! He now cries from what can only be a broken heart when I have to get him out of the tub! Even when he is crying, one things for sure...he's a cutie pie!

 

 

20 Months Old

  

 

 

This precious little monkey of ours is 20 months old! He's got quite the personality, even if he STILL isn't talking other than to say "no" and "bye" to us. His speech therapist is still convinced, as are we, that he's just being stubborn. He has no trouble making his wishes and intentions clear, even if it is in his sweet little caveman ways!

 

Anderson loves music games like Patty-cake and The Wheels on the Bus, and happily claps along. He's got some hilarious motions down pat for wheels on the bus, and it cracks me up every time he does them. We're reading to Anderson lots, but for now he seems way more interested in playing with Jackson's toys than sitting still and listening to a book!

Nothing better than enjoying a few minutes outside before church tonight. We've loved this warm snap that has come through, and Anderson has had a blast taking Thomas outside to play while Jackson rides his scooter. He wants to be doing whatever it is that Jackson is doing, so letting the boys play together in the driveway is entertaining for everyone. The boys have fun, and I don't have to keep them cooped up in the house. Win/win!!

Jeremy and I are both amazed by how stinking cute Anderson is. I know we're biased, because we have two great looking kids, but he's one good looking little boy! I think this "toddlerish" age is the most fun part of "little" kids. He's sweet when he wants to be, a stinker when he wants to be, and no matter what he's doing, he's cute beyond belief! For sure, this is one loved little boy!
