205 Days Old...December 29, 2011

Anderson has been busy the past few days. The little guy has mastered rolling from front to back. He started doing it when he was trying to get a better view of Jackson, and he hasn't stopped since! He's been sitting up perfectly for forever it seems, but now he's trying to get his hands out and start reaching far for things. Last night he was even trying to pull up on his crib railing. At this rate he'll be crawling in a month or so!

Anderson had to have a follow up visit with the pediatrican for his ears and he was given an antibiotic shot to help clear them up. It seems like it is working much better this time around. As far as food goes, Anderson is now eating 1 jar of baby food in the morning, 2 at lunch and 2 at dinner. He's a growing boy!

See you in 2012 with more updates on our little man!

200 Days Old…December 24, 2011

photo (1)

Anderson is 200 days old today! Before I know it I’ll be planning his 1st birthday party. Time is flying by!

Anderson had to go to the doctor today. He ran a mild fever last night and then at 3:30 this morning he woke up with a fever of 101.8. We gave him Tylenol and at 6:30 we called the pediatrician when he was still running a fever over 100. She heard his symptoms and had us bring him in. Her over the phone diagnosis of an ear infection was confirmed and Anderson has his first double ear infection just in time for Christmas. Poor little guy! He’s been very fussy and irritable today, which is completely out of character for him. He’s had 2 doses of antibiotics so far so hopefully he will be feeling better in the morning in time to enjoy his Christmas presents. I guess that’s it for today! We’ll be back in 5 more days!

195 Days Old…December 19, 2011

Anderson looks like such a big boy in this picture! We spent the weekend in Mississippi for Christmas and Anderson loved getting to hang out with his MS family. He was such a good baby on the trip. We only had to make 1 unscheduled stop on the way home to let him stretch a little bit and give him a break from the carseat. Anderson is still waking up like clock work at 4 in the morning, and he wants bottles at 4, 8, 12, 4 and 8 and baby food 3  times a day. He couldn’t be a more predictable baby if  he tried! That’s it for today; we’ll see you again in 5 days!

190 Days Old…December 14, 2011

Anderson met Santa last night and did so great! He wore the same outfit Jackson did for his first time meeting Santa, and he looked just as adorable. I’ll do my best to get the pictures scanned in soon. This picture was taken this afternoon when Anderson was watching Jackson jump in and out of a big box in our living room. He loved every second! Who needs toys when you have big empty boxes laying around?

See you in 5 more days!

Anderson went to the doctor today for his 6 month checkup. Our little man is weighing in at 17.3  lbs (45th percentile) and is 27 inches long (75th percentile). Long and lean! He is doing wonderful! Dr. Deibel was super pleased with how well he is sitting up, as well as how good he is doing getting things up to his mouth. He got 4 shots today, 3 routine immunizations and his first dose of his flu shot. He’s such a little trooper! Here is a shot from our candid pictures at home. He will have his official 6 month portrait session this Sunday. Enjoy the pic!

180 Days Old…December 4, 2011

This morning Jackson wanted to visit Anderson in his crib when he woke up. I loved watching the two boys play together, and Anderson had a blast with Jackson. He adores his big brother and reacts to him like no one else. You can almost guarantee that Jackson can get a smile and laugh out of Anderson. It completely melts my heart to watch my boys together. We have been so blessed! Anderson will turn 6 months old on the 7th, so I'll be back then with his 6 month candid shots. Y'all take care!
