690 Days Old...April 27, 2013

Anderson and Jackson had a great time taking all the pillows off the couch and playing while I attempted to pack for our trip and clean the house. Cleaning with children present is like trying to catch water in a Dixie cup from Niagra falls. It's fruitless!! Oh well! At least they had fun!

685 Days Old...April 22, 2013

Someone is learning how to ham it up for the camera!!! Please excuse our unmade bed. The picture opportunity was too cute to pass up. Anderson is doing great the past few days, but boy oh boy, someone has hit the terrible two's! Anderson is saying, "No" to everything, even when the answer is yes. He's such a little stinker, and this cutie pie did his fair share of time in timeout today for his unwarranted hitting attempts on his brother. Jackson doesn't quite know what to do when Anderson comes at him, I just keep assuring him that he's just in a phase and it will pass soon. At least, I pray it passes soon!!!

680 Days Old...April 17, 2013

Someone is digging is new "toddler" bed, even though we had to add a rail to keep him from falling off. He hasn't tried to get out a single time, and he falls asleep all by himself just like normal. He's such a great little boy!

Anderson's doing much better in the speech department. He's now saying: Mama, Dadda, Bubba, Jack, Nana, Tata, Papa, No and something that sounds like the word look. He's come so far, and I can only imagine what he'll be doing in a few months!

675 Days Old...April 12, 2013

This little monkey was too busy blowing raspberries at me tonight to bother smiling. Love this boy!

22 Months Old

Boy, this boy was serious today!!! I didn't get a single smile out of him. At 22 months old, we are fast approaching this little boy's 2nd birthday which seems totally unreal to me. Anderson is doing so good with his speech. He's gone from saying nothing practically to saying, "Mama, Dadda, Jack, Bubba, Nana, Tata, Papa, NO! and trying for Gigi."

Anderson is such a fun and sweet little boy, and is definitely his own little man. He is super independent and as much as he loves Jackson, he does NOT like Jackson doing stuff for him, or even sharing food with him.. It's so funny watching him try to figure out how to do what Jackson is doing, without actually getting any input from Jackson. These boys of mine are mess, but I wouldn't trade them for anything!!

Only 2 more months till his birthday party. I better get busy planning!

670 Days Old...April 7, 2013

I've figured this little monkey out...If Jeremy is talking with him, Anderson will repeat just about anything Jeremy says. He's said, "Mama, Dada, Bubba, Jack, Nana, Tata, Papa, and he's attempting Gigi." If I ask him to say something, I get nothing.

Until today.

Anderson is in my Sunday school class at church and I had a bowl of cheese grits. The only way Anderson would get a bite is if he said, "Mama" before each bite. Worked like a charm! Anderson said my name at least 10 times.

After the grits were gone, I got nothing. Oh yeah, kid, I"m onto you!!

Today's picture was taken at the Montgomery Biscuits game. Anderson went to watch his big brother take the field with the Biscuits. His favorite part? Blue Razzberry Dippin Dots!

665 Days Old...April 2, 2013

Whoo-hoo...this kid has discovered Easter candy! Anderson wasn't happy when he ate all the Skittles out of this egg and I wouldn't give him another one. He let me hear it, but I didn't give in. With enough candy in him he's a force to be reckoned with when it comes to bedtime!

In other news, the past few days Anderson has stepped it up with his speaking. He's said, "Mama, Dada, Nana, Tata, Bubba, and Jack." Not at the same time, and he only said it when he was repeating after Jeremy, but hey, I'll take it! He has his next therapy in a couple of weeks, so hopefully he will continue with this great progress.

See y'all in 5 more days!
