Anderson is finally making progress in the sippy cup department. I wouldn’t say he’s mastered it yet, but we’re light years ahead of where he was. He prefers to sip out of the cup, but at least he’s drinking something now. Anderson has really missed Jackson since he’s been gone. We’ve put the phone up to his ear a few times so he can hear Jackson talking to him, and he lights up from ear to ear. It’ so sweet! After we hung the phone up he crawled over and picked up the remote control and “talked” on the remote. It was so cute!
Speaking of crawling, we’ve got bets going as to when he will start walking. He’s got the skills, he just doesn’t have the bravery to just let go. We keep encouraging him, but he just won’t go for it yet.
In the talking department Anderson is still speaking caveman right now. He definitely understands what we are saying because when we have to fuss at him he gets his feelings hurt! He’ll pout for a minute and then be right back to whatever mischief he was getting into!
We’ve loved getting to spend a few days one-on-one with Anderson. He’s such an amazing little boy, and we’re so blessed that he’s ours!
